Setting up Stripe through Glewee

In order to get paid through Glewee, you must set up your Stripe Account. Glewee's multi-year partnership with Stripe ensures that all of our users can participate in safe, secure, and trackable transactions. As an industry leading payment processor, we chose to partner with Stripe to give our users the highest level of legitimacy in the payment process. 

To Set Up Your Stripe :

1. Tap My Portfolio in the bottom right of the navigation with your photo 
2. Tap the three horizontal lines next to your Total Following value 
3. Tap Glewee Wallet
4. Tap Authenticate Stripe 
5. Tap Open Stripe
   
6. You will be directed into Stripe's secure browser window
7. Follow the steps provided by Stripe 
8. Once successful, press Continue to return back into Glewee

FAQ Around Stripe Authentication: 

• Why does Stripe need my Social Security Number?

Stripe requires users to provide a SSN to make sure you are who you say you are, and you are authorized to act on behalf of your entity. Your SSN is for identity verification only; Stripe is federally required to officially know someone connected to the account. 

• What if I don't have a website to connect to the account? 

You are able to share any of your social media pages as a website if you would look. This is just a way that Stripe can make it easier to connect to your business if you are accepting payments through a websit.e

• Does Glewee hold any of my Stripe information?

No - Glewee does not have access to any of the information you are providing to Stripe. We partner with Stripe because they are the safest payment processing tool for creators and businesses. That way, only Stripe holds all of this information and stores it in their database and it is never shared with third-parties or vendors.
