An Escrow is a system that is put in place during deals to ensure safety, contractual bindings, and security of the deal. Think of it like this: you want to pay your friend for a new hoodie but don’t want to give them the money until the hoodie arrives and is in one piece. You could put the money in Escrow and they will hold it until you get the hoodie and it’s exactly what you wanted. Then, safely, you can alert them to release the funds and your friend will have the money for the hoodie.
We implement this into Glewee in order to ensure the top level of safety, security, and professionalism with our Branded Campaigns. With that being said, if you agree to do work for a Brand and then don’t follow through with the contract, not only will you be on warning to be banned from Glewee, but also the funds will be safely returned to the Brand.
